Who We Are
Who is the AHCF?
A combination of the International Foundation for Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (IFAHC), founded in 1993, and the Alternating Hemiplegia Foundation (AHF), founded in 1995. The AHCF is a non-profit, tax exempt organization run by parents of children with AHC.
Is the AHCF a volunteer organization?
The AHCF is run almost entirely by volunteers which allows us to keep our administrative costs to a minimum.
Are donations to the AHCF tax deductible?
Yes. As a charitable organization we are classified as a non-profit tax, exempt organization 501 (c) (3). Federal ID # is 38-3225425
Which doctors advise the AHCF?
The AHCF has a Medical Advisory Board consisting of physicians and other professionals who have experience with the disorder. Click here for the Medical Advisory Board roster.
