Emilia Schalick was diagnosed with a rare genetic neuromuscular disease called Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC) at age 2 ½.
AHC impacts just 900 children worldwide and causes debilitating muscle paralysis, seizures, global developmental delays, ataxia and dystonia.
Despite all of her struggles, Emilia faces each day with a smile and optimism
inspiring all who meet her.
Please help us find a cure for this awful disease trying to steal Emilia’s joy and potential.
