Though the Ryan family has been fundraising for the benefit of AHC kids since 1997, this Hee-Haw type variety show is their 6th! Please review below and linked for details regarding a fun fundraiser from a great group of folks.  We all owe them a huge debt of gratitude for their 19 years of dedication to our mission: END AHC.

Saturday, February 20, 2016

at the Alsey Grade School Gym Winchester, Illinois

Door open at 4:30 pm for food and fun!   Cake and Cookie Walk from 5-6:15 pm.   Hew-Haw Variety Show at 6:30. Food from the VFW of Winchester and Grandma Beth will include Pork Chops, Hamburgers, Chicken/noodles, and all the fixins’ Raffle for prizes will include Jones Meat Locker and many more! The generosity of their donors since 1997 have surpassed the $175,000 mark!  Dr. Kevin Ess, Chief Pediatric Neurologist from the Vanderbilt University is heading up our first AHC wing and he along with Dr. All George from Northwestern University, were awarded a $250,000 grant from AHCF to fund Phase 4 “Finding Treatments for AHC” which involves Pharmacology!  Our prayer has always been to find a cure and strength we need, but in addition to that, a drug that will help Michael that we can purchase in the United States! Michael is 19 and continues to travel to Springfield and attends the Hope Institute.  He is starting job skills training at the Noll Building where he will learn Assembly, Clerical, Janitorial, and other skills. As you can see, our fundraising has never been more important! All donations are tax-deductible and receipts are available upon request.  Please makes direct checks payable to AHCF to Cindy or Dave Ryan. Contact details are available in the PDF flier below.
