The family meeting will be held in Raleigh, N.C., July 22-24, 2011. The meeting will be at the Embassy Suites RDU/Cary. We have reserved blocks of rooms starting on Tuesday July 19. Physicals/evaluation appointments with Dr. Swoboda’s research team led by Dr Sandra Reyna, will be held from Wednesday, July 20 , 8:30am – 5:00pm, through Friday. There are still appointments available for Wednesday, July 20th. Please email Karla Johnson at karlaj@genetics.utah.edu to schedule an appointment.
For first time families, the research team conducts physicals, interviews, videos, photos and blood draws at no cost to you, to have your child evaluated and entered into the research database. The appointment usually takes about 1½ hours. Returning families are welcome and encouraged to make follow up appointments.
