Fighting AHC through Research and Resources

Since 1995, AHCF has relentlessly explored research opportunities to understand AHC, while encouraging the creation of symptomatic treatments. While the road to envisioning a cure is at hand we continue to disseminate resources for the medical community to gain awareness of this disorder.

AHC is a rare and complex disorder that typically presents more questions than answers. AHCF has prepared highly curated research content and resources to provide clarity and understanding.

1
Determine the cause of AHC when ATP1A3 mutation is not present.
2
Primarily fund research of gene therapy projects to correct AHC.
3
Promote therapeutic research to improve the quality of life with AHC.
4
Partner with Rare X to accelerate research and drug development.
5
Expand Natural History Database to move research toward clinical trials.
