Grief can take many forms — and for families caring for someone with AHC, it can sometimes be difficult to even name what we are feeling.
On September 24, Brad Thompson, M.A., NCC, LPC-S, joined us for a thoughtful conversation about grief, caregiving, and caring for ourselves through difficult times.
Brad began by acknowledging the grief our community has experienced following recent events and created space to talk about loss, vicarious grief, and the anticipatory grief that can linger.
He’ll also shared strategies for staying healthy while navigating the ongoing demands and emotional challenges of  caregiving.
Due to the sensitive nature of the participation conversations we will not be replaying this webinar, but we encourage you to explore the Child Neurology Foundation’s “Caregiver Compass Training” which covered much of this topic. https://www.childneurologyfoundation.org/cnf-learning-portal/
