The AHC Foundation is proud to join organizations across the country in urging Congress to make Medicare telehealth access permanent.
Telehealth has become an essential part of healthcare for many individuals and families living with rare diseases like Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC), helping reduce travel burdens and improve access to specialists.
Current Medicare telehealth flexibilities are temporary. While they have been extended, families deserve long-term certainty—not repeated last-minute extensions.
That’s why we recently signed a national petition coordinated by the Alliance for Connected Care, calling on Congress to pass permanent Medicare telehealth policy in 2026.
This is a nonpartisan effort focused solely on protecting access to care for patients.
