On November 4th, AHCF joined over 450 organizations (health care providers, digital health innovators, and patient and provider advocacy organizations) in sending a letter to Congress.  The letter pressed Congress to immediately act on a long-term telehealth fix in its next legislative package to ensure stability and provide clarity for patients, providers, and the health care system as a whole.
The letter was coordinated by Alliance for Connected Care and urged federal policymakers to enact a long-term fix for telehealth coverage for Medicare. Advocacy is essential for the rare disease community because it gives voice to millions of Americans who face unique medical challenges that are often overlooked.  Strong advocacy helps drive awareness, accelerate scientific progress, and promote equity in healthcare. AHCF is honored to stand with the AHC community and help ensure that no one is left behind.
