Weโ€™re excited to share that the Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood Foundation has been selected to participate in the Genetic Counseling Student Exchange (GCSX) Jumpstart Program through the Orphan Disease Center at the University of Pennsylvania.

This semester, we are pleased to partner with ๐—ง๐—ฎ๐˜†๐—น๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ด๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ป, a second-year genetic counseling student at the University of Pittsburgh.

Through this collaboration, Taylor will work alongside AHCF to develop clear, evidence-based educational materials for both healthcare providers and families in the AHC community โ€” helping translate complex genetic and neurological information into accessible, practical tools.

We look forward to sharing the results of this meaningful partnership in May. Please join us in welcoming Taylor to the AHCF community!
