AHC (Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood) is a very complex disorder that has been characterized by a rare 1 in a million occurrence.

While there are many similarities between persons with AHC, each case is unique and can be mild to severely affected.

Currently, there is no cure for AHC but ongoing research provides hope that treatment and a cure are within reach.

AHCF has prepared and provided comprehensive descriptions of AHC but also ways to cope and engage with the AHC community.
